Keynote #1: Change the Narrative

Ideal audience: K-12 education, juvenile detention centers.

Value: Keep the crime rate low, teen homelessness, drug abuse, decreasing student suspension rates

When it comes to many students that are considered at risk, based on how they are doing academically, socially emotionally may be because the lack of confidence, understanding who they are and how they identify. It is important for students to see the value of their life and find their life story.
​
Allowing students to understand their life stories, their many endeavors that they have endure in their adolescence years students will learn to view their stories from a deficient based lens to an asset based lens. Students will learn to take ownership and accountability for their lives and as a student.
​
Students will learn to take the tangible risk and take flight as I break down our 4 C's Theory. Which are Conflict, Confusion, Confidence, and Calm. Going through each step of this theory students will uderstand what stage there are in, when it comes to their lives. How to go from one stage to the next stage. With this theory students will learn what they need to do to Change the Narrative and change the trajectory of their family's life.
